Wooo, theres a name from the past.Glicky left a message on the last post!Wow, i havent seen glicky and Jen for i dont know how long.It must be 20 years,easy!!!!Great to here from you.We are a couple of hours south of Bordeaux, in a small village called Saubion.You can Google Earth it we are next to Lagrollet .
Just had more amazing waves on the same bank at Les Casernes.Saturday afternoon 3pm and just 3 othrer guys.4-5 ft offshore and pumping ,super consistant,flawless left and right peaks.Soo much fun!
I did a couple of days work for Jez in his workshop this week and there is more to come;If i can pick up a couple of days work each week then i can spend the rest of the time working here and still be productive
Lola is on school holidays AGAIN,so she had 3 nights at Nana Moniques place, running amok with her cousin,as she does without mum and dad.She came back sooo tired and all she will want to do this weekend is sleep.

Windows

I finally got the colonial bars painted and fitted this week.It makes a huge difference to the look of theroom.Its really coming together now, and starting to get the look that we're after.

COLD!!!!!

Just had probably the coldest surf session ever this morning. 0° and a brisk offshore wind witha ridiculous wind chill factor!Nice waves though! 4ft

Snowman

Yes, we made the mandatory snowman!Lola and i had a huge snowball fight and made 'Buddy' the snowman after she got home from school on friday.Its now Monday and Buddy is still standing tall in the backyard.It has been very cold,with the temp barely getting over 0° for the last week.I've had enough of winter and cant wait till spring.We are expecting 14° on thursday so will be a welcome relief

Global warming????

It has been snowing all day and there is about 4-5 inches of snow on the ground.I hope the roads have been scraped well so Corinne can get Lola home from school without any problems.There are very few cars on the road and it can be a littlle dangerous driving.This is the third snwfall this winter.Sometimes it may not snow here for 3-4 years.So weve had our fair share this year.

What a shame ,as i was gonna surf today.BBRRRRRRR,maybe not! I'm sure Lola cant wait to get home to build a snowman and throw some snowballs at me.

I worked for murph for 3 days this week.My first paid work in over a year!The house is at a stage where i can afford to do a couple of days a week elsewhere now and get in some extra money.

The meat pie we made for Australia day inspired Lola to make some more sausage rolls ,sooo good!!!

more good waves

Again had amazing waves at the same bank Sunday afternoon.Awesome 5-6 ft perfect barrelling left and right peaks.3 other guys.Classic clean conditions i could have been anywhere in the world and been just as exited about the quality of waves.Ive been very lucky to have scored such good waves in the last month.I went to bed with a smile on my face last night!
