I poured the half the slab for the terrace last week.I took a leaf from the frogs book as they very often mix their concrete themselves as there are no minimix here.you can buy a 'BigBag' of stone mixed with sand, so all you need to do is add the cement and water and away you go.Its a lot cheaper than ordering the concrete from the plant. And now we have an area to relax outside.I've taken Lola surfing the last 3 days and she loves it.Small summer waves here are perfect for kids to learn.

Pauline arrives tomorrow with Daisy and Lily so Lola is very exited.Paul arrives on Thursday.Should be a fun week

G'day mate! Great to get all the news on the new abode and great to hear you're finally in and working.
Pretty cool over here, in fact probably the coldest winter I've had in Sydney in 18 years.
Mandy is at home crook today so she's annoying me for a bit of sport, for her that is.
We're off to Melbourne this Friday and staying with the Harrisons Friday night, they arranged for the Lowes and Burns to come around so we are both looking forward to seeing them all so much. Then it's visiting day on Saturday before heading to my Dads for his wife, Barb, 70th birthday dinner in Brighton. Back on a midday flight Sunday, just in time for the meat raffle.
Bombers had a good win on Saturday up here but didn't go to the game, funds could be spent elsewhere.
Take care all and will talk to you soon.
Lots of love,
Weiry & Mandy
